FARO Foundation, in partnership with the international non-governmental organisation People in Need, is inviting expressions of interest for consulting services. This initiative is part of the Digital Inclusion through CSO Empowerment project, which is funded by the European Union. A qualified consulting team is required to develop and deliver a Train the Trainer programme focused on adult education methodology during the fourth quarter of 2024.
The selected consultants will design a curriculum to equip representatives from civil society organisations with essential training methodologies and facilitation skills. These representatives, particularly those working with marginalised communities, will subsequently organise universal digital skills training across the country.
The consulting team must develop a two-day training programme tailored to the specific requirements of adult learners. The curriculum must detail the objectives, format, content, methodology, expected outcomes, duration, required materials, and evaluation methods. Crucially, at least 70 per cent of the content must focus on pedagogical strategies for diverse groups, including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and citizens with special needs.
Following the curriculum development, the consultants will conduct the training sessions for three separate groups. Two groups will be trained in Ulaanbaatar and one group will be trained in Umnugovi province.
The assignment requires a total of 26 working days between 26 August 2024 and 28 November 2024. This indicative schedule allocates 15 days for finalising the curriculum by 20 September, eight days for conducting the training sessions in October, and three days for preparing the final evaluation and reports in November.
Eligible consulting teams must consist of at least two members, and applications are open to both individuals and registered legal entities. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of eight years of professional experience in adult education and training methodology. Submissions must include detailed profiles of the organisation or individual consultants, information regarding their education and expertise, and examples of similar previous assignments. A comprehensive financial proposal detailing the total cost and daily rate is also required.
Interested parties must submit their proposals to purevjav@faro.mn before 18:00 on 22 August 2024. The subject line of the email must read "Consultancy Service 1: Train the Trainer". For further information or clarification, applicants may contact the designated email address or call 7000 7222.
